Direct Communication Inc. is a psychological training and research organization based in Tokyo, Japan. Since 2006, we have focused on helping individuals and organizations improve communication, interpersonal understanding, and mental wellbeing through practical psychological education and assessment tools.

Hello everyone, I’m Tatsushi Kawashima, founder of Direct Communication Inc. I currently work as a communication trainer and psychological educator.
In the past, I personally struggled with severe social anxiety and experienced long periods of isolation. Because of these experiences, my lifelong mission is to help reduce communication-related suffering and create a society with warmer human relationships.

About Transactional Analysis
At Direct Communication Inc., I am responsible for programs related to transactional analysis and interpersonal communication.
Many of us live with unconscious assumptions and biases that strongly influence our relationships and communication styles.
When I was younger, I often worried excessively about how others perceived me and assumed people would judge me negatively. This caused significant anxiety in social situations.
However, through learning transactional analysis and reflecting on my own thought patterns, I gradually realized that many of these fears were based on assumptions rather than reality.
Transactional analysis helped me better understand myself and improve my relationships with others.
Message
Human beings can change when they gain deeper self-awareness.
Difficulties such as struggling in group situations or feeling unable to communicate effectively are not fixed traits. By understanding our communication patterns, we can gradually develop healthier ways of interacting with others.
For those experiencing interpersonal difficulties or seeking personal growth, I encourage you to explore the practical insights offered by psychology and transactional analysis.
